Compassionate Communication and Meditation : why?

Compassionate Communication, also known as Nonviolent Communication (NVC) is a communication approach based on a very simple model that enables us to better understand what is happening inside of ourselves as well as for others around us.

Meditation is the practice of learning to pause, cultivating our ability to pay attention to our immediate experience and maintaining that focus. It involves being mindful of what is happening in our mind and body. From this place of wise knowing, we gain the power to nurture the skill non reactivity and experience the joys of non-reactive presence. It is a crucial tool for daily life and for navigating difficult conversations.

Rock Maze

By combining NVC and meditation, we invite you to experience for yourself these two approaches and their complementarity to remain calm in the face of difficult situations: meditation helps you to recognize the arising of "strong emotions" without letting it overwhelm you and NVC allows you to express what is happening in a clear and connected way.
